Lavaughn T. Simmons is a Florida-based Film Producer and Screenwriter, specializing in Comedy and Drama genres while showcasing the work of film. She is pursuing her PhD of Psychology and holds an MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University, a BFA in Creative Writing, and an AA in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design. Her portfolio includes a variety of short films, docudramas, and screenplays. Her portfolio also displays samples of screenplays and behind the scenes (BTS) footage that highlights the filmmaking process. Lavaughn believes that the best way to learn about filmmaking is by doing it yourself and she encourages her viewers to get hands-on experience in all aspects of film production. If her fingers don’t fall off from writing or filming, they just may spasm from her second passion as a hairstylist.
